Minister Ley has announced a Koala count . I gave the maps below to the Minister in February of this year. This data has taken 30 years and nearly $20m.

I am sure this announcement is more about New South Wales politics than a desire to help the Koalas. What I would say to the Minister is declare a moratorium on all Koala habitat given the Koala is listed as Vulnerable under the EPBC Act and get on with recovery of the species. This is fiddling while Rome burns.
