I’d love you to meet our Koala of the Month… beautiful Banksia
Banksia is the quiet achiever type. She’s independent, enjoys her own space, and is perfectly happy having a bit of ‘me time’ up in the branches. That said, she’s got a cheeky streak — every now and then she’ll suddenly spring from tree to tree when the mood takes her.
Born on 9 November 2018, Banksia has already raised a joey and done her bit as a devoted mum. These days, she’s embracing a calmer chapter — often spotted basking in the morning sun and taking in the peaceful surrounds at Paradise Country.
She’s a lovely reminder of why protecting Koala habitat matters so much. Every safe tree, every protected patch of bushland gives Koalas like Banksia the chance to live quietly and embrace their calm.
